GROUND RULES:

• No stock in any event (except for rerides) may be taken before the 1^st section of that event or held beyond the section in which it is drawn.
• Horses are not allowed on grass ball fields or in City Park.
• All dogs to be on a leash, except for stock contractor or special acts.
• No riding double in arena.
• Only the following are allowed mounted in the arena:  1) Contestants, 2) Contractors; 3) Visiting royalty; and 4) Rodeo Committee Members
• Only the following personnel are allowed behind rough stock chutes and timed event areas: 1)  Rodeo contractor and his personnel; 2) Newport Rodeo Association committee members; 3) Contestant and one helper; 4) No one under 18 years of age.
• Arena director reserves the right to remove any unnecessary persons: 1) in the arena; 2) behind timed event areas; and 3) behind rough stock chutes.
• Any individuals, except Rodeo Committee members and hired contractors, must have a wrist band from the rodeo office to gain entry into the arena staging area.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  Wristbands for arena access,  will be given to contestants only.  Family members will be stamped for grandstand access.
